Chaganti Koteswara Raodelivered the discourse. It was a highly knowledgeable interpretation and analysis of the quintessence of the absolute truth divinely embedded in the epic. . A philosophical interpretation of the everlasting bond between the individual, universe and the creator (the all pervading Brahman/the supreme being), no wonder it became the cynosure of all seekers of spiritualism.
The all pervading glory of Ramayana demonstrated the need and methodology of keeping the practice of all ethical and moral values intact sans any blur, elucidated Koteswara Rao, quoting eloquently from the epic and other such works of the ever great saints including Sankaracharya.
In the course of his talks, he as well brought home the fact how it discloses the attributes of an unassuming devotee in the form of Hanuman, the redeeming of Ahalya from her husband's curse which she attracted because of transgression of dharma unknowingly, the precise and perennial operation of the law of Karma and so on.
It is the only epic which could claim itself to be a panacea for all ills on one hand and a treasure-trove of vistas of beatific knowledge that not only could distinguish the subtle differences between the body, the mind, the heart and the soul but also help atonement and expedite the process of self-realisation Koteswara Rao sought to establish, giving numerous examples from it. |
